Well, it’s still somewhat of a “secret” that is widely drowned out by the doom-and-gloom press.

But Ben Stein, a seasoned investor and columnist who writes on yahoo.com’s financial site has the guts to put it out in his most recent article on this “main stream” media web site:

“The best bet usually is what has gone down the most, and that, for now, is real estate.”

“Yes, there will be news saying housing will not recover THIS TIME. But in fact, except in really depressed areas, housing recovers EVERY TIME and goes on to pass its prior record. The real story of real estate, as my brilliant money manager friend, Phil DeMuth, says, is of failing to buy, not of staying away successfully.”

The second piece of news reporting on a similar note is this video by real estate legend Barbara Corcoran. In this video interview she says:

“You can’t sharp-shoot the real estate market. [...] I’m buying aggressively…”
